veSync Overview
veSync is a community-driven decentralized exchange (DEX) operating on the zkSync network. It combines liquidity, voting, and rewards to offer a compelling DeFi experience. Based on the Velodrome Finance framework, veSync utilizes zk-rollups and zero-knowledge proofs to deliver fast, cost-effective transactions with minimal fees.
Protocol Overview
veSync, a cutting-edge DEX built on zkSync, integrates liquidity, voting, and rewards. It enables permissionless pool creation, democratic voting, and fee accumulation for ve lockers, fostering a more engaged and dynamic DeFi ecosystem. The key features include:
zkSync Integration: veSync leverages zk-rollups and zero-knowledge proofs for faster, low-fee transactions, addressing scalability issues faced by traditional Ethereum-based DEXes.
Reward with Emissions: The protocol ensures a balanced distribution of rewards and emissions, promoting strategic voting behavior and early participation. Rewards can be claimed only after emissions are committed.
Productive Gauges: The protocol implements measures to encourage productive gauges, ensuring that participants directing emissions towards beneficial liquidity sources are economically aligned with the system.
Prolonged Emissions Decay: To balance rewards for early and late participants, veSync uses a refined emissions growth function. Negative voting is eliminated, and LP emissions "boost" is reallocated to incentivize external liquidity providers.
Premium Support: A portion of perpetual emissions supports the development team, ensuring ongoing enhancement and growth of the protocol.
