Throughout April and May, Moonwell ran a “Based Voter” campaign designed to incentivize users to upgrade their WELL and vote using the native token on Base. $100 USDC was awarded to 20 winners for a total prize of $2000. The campaign resulted in over 200 eligible addresses and 145 successful minters. It also coincided with the largest voter turnout since August 2023; MIP-B17 gathered 145 onchain votes.

We are excited to kick off a full-scale, monthly recurring governance campaign. Each month, $2000 WELL will be rewarded to 20 random NFT minters ($100 each).

How to Mint the Monthly Governance Participant NFT

Each month, there will be two required user actions to complete. Users who complete both of the actions will be eligible to mint that month’s NFT before the established end date. Users who successfully earn the monthly NFT will be entered into a drawing to earn WELL rewards. The two actions are:

• Vote on at least two onchain proposals
• Create a quality reply in the governance forum

Discussions and replies will be assessed for originality. They should be thought-provoking, creative, and useful to the Moonwell community.

Galxe will be updated with eligible minting addresses after the end of each voting period. After you vote, it will not immediately be reflected in Galxe.

Users can only vote if they delegate their tokens prior to a proposal going live. Staking automatically delegates to the staker's address.

Campaign Duration

June 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2024. There will be three separate cycles of monthly NFT through August 31st.

Although the campaign was announced after the first week of June, all votes casted beginning June 1st count towards completion of the tasks.

How to Link your Wallet Address with your Social Profiles

For users that wish to complete the tasks that require tracking usernames (i.e. forum replies), they must enter their information in the #🗳june-participant channel in Discord using the following format:
